Course Description: This course will equip individuals with the knowledge and skills to identify and address security vulnerabilities in systems and networks, with the owner’s permission, in a manner similar to how a malicious hacker would operate, but with the intent to enhance security. This involves learning various hacking techniques, tools, and methodologies to assess security postures and protect against cyber threats.

Course Objective: This course will assist students in achieving the following objectives

  • Learn the foundational principles and legal aspects of ethical hacking
  • Understand techniques and tactics in identifying and assessing vulnerabilities and weaknesses in systems and networks
  • Obtain proficiency in using various hacking tools and methodologies for penetration testing
  • Understand network security protocols and best practices
  • Learn to secure web applications by identifying and mitigating common vulnerabilities
